Vienna cub named Fu Hu

The online voting contest for the name of Zoo Vienna’s panda cub is finished. More than 25000 fans of the Schönbrunner cub voted over the past two weeks. Half of the votes (50,1 %) went to the Chinese name Fu Hu, which means “Happy Tiger”. Zoo Vienna will hold an official Naming Ceremony for the cub on December 13, 2010. A delegation from the Ya’an Bi Feng Xia Base of CCRCGP will visit Austria for this occasion.
