Sur les hauteurs de Chine: an amazing piece of China in France
When Huan Huan & Yuan Zi will arrive in France, their new home will be at ZooParc de Beauval’s “Sur les hauteurs de Chine”, a new section of the zoo was opened on May 21, 2011.
When you walk inside “Sur les hauteurs de Chine”, you will feel like you just walked into China.
An amazing piece of China in France…
Beautiful authentic Chinese objects were imported directly from Beijing and Shanghai to Saint-Aignan.
The panda enclosures were designed by Rodolphe Delord, the director of ZooParc de Beauval.
It is great to see that they combined all the good things from many panda enclosures around the world, and I must say: the result is amazing. This panda enclosure combines also the needs of the staff, the visitors and of course Huan Huan & Yuan Zi.
Huan Huan & Yuan Zi’s neighbors will be red pandas, takins & snow leopards in these 2,5 hectares of China in France.
