Huan Huan & Yuan Zi: 1 year @ ZooParc de Beauval
One year ago, on January 15, 2012, the people of France welcomed Huan Huan & Yuan Zi. The panda pair arrived on the FedEx Panda Express at Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport. Yuan Zi & Huan Huan explored the inside enclosures of the panda house one day later and they were introduced to the media on January 17. Their public debut was postponed due to a heavy snowfall and the first visitors walked to ‘Sur les Hauteurs de Chine’ on February 18. The official inauguartion took place on November 23.
1.002.000 people visited ZooParc de Beauval. A record for the park.
They are now the largest touristic site in the Loir-et-Cher region, and one of the 15 biggest in France.
