Er Shun's Flower Power Birthday Party
Er Shun celebrated her 7th Birthday on August 10, 2014.
The Toronto Zoo organised panda birthday activities in the Wildlife Marquee located in the Discovery Zone for Canada’s only female giant panda. Anyone who shares Er Shun’s August 10th birthday will received complimentary admission that day.
Visitors joined in a special arts and crafts painting session (non-toxic) that was placed in Er Shun’s exhibit for enrichment training and made birthday cards for Er Shun. Visitors could also participate in panda interpretive stations for fun, interactive and educational activities.
The theme of the Birthday Party was ‘flower power’. Er Shun was very curious about the Paper-mache flowers, since there were some yummy treats inside of them!
